Pics of eye

These are the photos that helped us detect and diagnose the tumor in Mattie's eyes. These are also the photos that saved his life. Please note the white, milky or glarish pupil in Mattie's right eye. This is the eye with the tumor, which has been diagnosed as retinoblastoma. The photos showing one red eye and one white pupil are not normal. The tumor reflects the light and causes the pupil to appear white. In normal eyes, both eyes will have the red eye. Please pay close attention to your photographs. If you see any of these symptoms, please contact an ophthalmologist as soon as possible. It can save your child's eye or more importantly their life. We ask that you please share this information with your friends, family, schools, photo labs, churches, playschools, etc. Feel free to print this page and spread the knowledge of this terrible disease. Mattie and his family would love to help someone detect this disease before it's too late.
