For any families that have a child diagnosed with retinoblastoma or a childhood cancer, please know that there can be a brighter future. Mattie turned 6 years old earlier this month and leads a very normal life. Even with only one eye, he can see VERY well. He can do anything he decides to do. Most people have no idea that he only has one eye, much less a vision impairment. The strange thing is that even though he only has a left eye, he is right handed. Haven't updated the site in quite a while. Matthew is 5 years old and is doing great. He is a wonderful child and we are very blessed to have him.
